Michael Patrick MacDonald was born in Boston in 1966 and grew up in South Boston’s Old Colony housing project. It's also a searing portrayal of life in a poor, white neighborhood plagued by violence and crime and deeply in denial about it. MacDonald’s story is ultimately one of overcoming the racist, classist ideology he was born into. We meet his mother, Ma MacDonald, an accordion-playing, spiked-heel-wearing, indomitable mother to all Whitey Bulger, the lord of Southie, gangster and father figure, protector and punisher and Michael's beloved siblings, nearly half of whom were lost forever to drugs, murder, or suicide. MacDonald also introduces us to the unforgettable people who inhabit this proud neighborhood. With radiant insight, he opens up a contradictory world, where residents are besieged by gangs and crime but refuse to admit any problems, remaining fiercely loyal to their community. In All Souls, MacDonald takes us deep into the secret heart of Southie. The area was first added ingame with the Soul Wars beta, but was unnamed and inaccessible.Michael Patrick MacDonald grew up in "the best place in the world"-the Irish-American Old Colony projects of South Boston-where 85% of the residents collect welfare in an area with the highest concentration of impoverished whites in the U.S. The area was revealed and made accessible to players.
The Iron Dragon in the Soul Wars dungeon has been moved closer to the runite ore spot to prevent botters from getting there without a fight. This chest has a higher chance of opening when a lockpick is held in the inventory, failure to open results in the player being teleported outside of the entrance to the cave. Other than that, this chest commonly gives out uncut gems and grimy herbs, so it is highly recommended players bring their gem bag and herb sack when stealing from this chest, should they own them. In the hallway between the two dragon rooms is a locked chest, which can be opened with level 28 Thieving for a chance to receive the dark key, which can be opened in the Crumbling Tower basement. Note that the player may still be attacked by an iron dragon, should they draw its aggression while walking through the room. The two adamantite rocks are located in a small enclave to the north-east of the room with blue dragons, and the runite rock can be found in the small enclave to the north of the room containing the iron dragons.
The dungeon features three rocks that can be mined for ore: two adamantite rocks and a single runite rock. Iron Dragons cannot be safe-spotted due to their ranged magic attack. It can be used with flinching, halberds, Ranged, and Magic. The blue dragons can be safespotted by standing in the cove next to the adamantite rocks. It is highly recommended to bring some kind of anti fire protection when venturing deeper into this dungeon, due to the amount of dragons that can be found around the useful resources. Finally, in the last room three iron dragons can be found. Going south from there, players will find a room containing both four blue dragons and three baby blue dragons, along with six blue dragon scale spawns. Further to the west there are eight fire giants, in a room that does not need to be crossed to venture deeper into the dungeon. The first room of the dungeon contains both four lesser and seven greater demons, with the eastern portion of the room containing mostly greater demons, and the western portion containing the lesser demons. Other than these specific monsters, several skeletons also wander around throughout the dungeon. The dungeon features several rooms, each containing a specific type of slayer monster.
